Every day we encounter people from different walks of life who carry an image or notions of those around them and inadvertently envisage the state of affairs, the populace, the upshots and the consequences in their own unique ways. These radically distinctive perceptions, thoughts, opinions, emotions and reactions represent and mould our personalities.
What thus, is a personality? The answer to that is as complex as the question itself.
The Oxford English Dictionary describes personality as “the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual’s distinctive character” while Dictionary.com says it is”the visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others.”
Fostering an ambition or a career is as essential as developing a dynamic personality of one’s own. Some of the most competent and successful people have clear-cut personalities. They standout even when they are a part of the crowd. They all possess distinguishing characteristics that are similar to one another yet their demeanor and implementation is what separates them from one another.
To all and sundry, personality is to be your best self. Progress, Entice, Influence, Engage, Befriend and oftentimes Entertain is instrumental in evolving into an individual with incredible magnetism. Not many of us lay much emphasis on the need to have a good and strong personality. We survey the world outside in a pursuit to meet the ideal, oblivious to the fact that a HERO dwells within us!
Regardless of our socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, our noetic capabilities and the nature of our upbringing we ALL have what it takes to be an exemplar. Some of us inherently have the makings to be a hero, while others have latent qualities and untapped talent that need to ascend. Hence, honing the required skills and espousing certain methods will enable us to bring out the best in ourselves and most importantly in those around us.
So break free from all those inhibitions, bid your phobias farewell, delve into your inner selves and let your strengths surface, become a force to be reckoned with.
